Prior to creation there was nothingness. A complete perfect O. The void was empty, yet contained the whole O. Some called it Nirvana, some called it Heaven, some call it the Mind of God. Legend has it that the Mind of God was at rest. Then, with one original thought, the creation of One. And with the creation of One came light, motion, and dream. A big bang indeed of everything springing forth from nothingness, a single meditation.
As light found itself into being he exclaimed, “I hold the light”, recognizing himself to be. At once, motion joined in sharing, “I move all things.” The two began a dance, a dance of polarity, for they now both danced with their shadows, darkness and rest. Yet they were innocently unaware of the dichotomy, of their shadow dance with the opposite. The dance of dichotomy and polarity which exists in all creation. The dance of energy.
This is when dream came forth and created sound so that story could be told. Dream called out to darkness, “please kind Miss reveal yourself to the light so that he may be humbled in your presence.” Darkness, preferring to be unrevealed and unheard, stated simply in a silent whisper, “I am darkness, born out of myself.” “I fill every space and surround every motion that you do not, and these spaces in which I exist are great and vast!” Light was humbled and reached out his hand in oneness to join the hand of darkness.
Dream continued as it called forth motion requesting the ever restless newborn be introduced to his older and infinitely peaceful sister, rest. Eternal rest allowed dream to give rise to story. So too did rest reach out her hand to hold the hand of her brother, motion. Again joining in oneness. And thus, dream was allowed to tell the story of the Marriage of Heaven and Earth.
Out of this big bang, born of original thought, springing forth from the Mind of God, came the Heavens and Earth. The Heavens, beloved father, and Earth the sacred mother. They too began a dance in the polarized universe of Now. A beautiful union allowing majestic sun ethereal embrace with fingers of light to caress the holy vessel. The living grail which is the sacred mother. Formed of this creation spreading seed and spark was the seed of all life. Forever planted by timeless design in the sacred mother. The seed of life which contains all life, just as the seed of love contains all love. Truth’s proclamation from Heaven was truth’s echo in the garden. So it is said, so it is written.
Oneness performed the holy union, the Marriage of Heaven and Earth. Oneness is the marriage of opposites. Witness the story of Adam and Eve. Adam representing Heaven, the original atom, masculine projection of light and motion. Eve representing Earth, the sacred mother, feminine receptacle of light and motion. Resting vessel suspended in space. Dark space which holds everything in place, a place for motion to find rest. A void and a vessel from which all creation springs forth.
We are the children of this wedding. Children of this sacred and blessed union. Children of mother earth and father heaven. As we honor the sacred mother and beloved father, we honor the Marriage of Heaven and Earth. As this marriage occurs in every man, woman, and child. We recognize this marriage within ourselves and recognize ourselves as children of this marriage. Children of the Mind of God.
Also recognize this. That Adam and Eve move about the earth/heaven in light, and rest in darkness. Rest allows thought to birth dream. And all this dream we do, these dreams we dream, dream born of original thought. These are dreams of the Mind of God. They, created from perfect O giving birth to One.
